She has great raw power as you can see in the Waterbending master episode when she was not even trained yet and took on that master and did a great job. avatar wiki is a great site also for anyone who is looking for more (ps i loved the way Katara intimidated Zuko also, lol.) i saw this and i know for sure and so does Zuko that Katara may have been weak when the two first met but she is a highly trained waterbender now and can kill him if he is not careful. What happenned: gang has to walk to temple temple is upside down, literally zuko tries to join, is rejected, toph tries to explain zuko is telling truth..etc toph finds zuko in the wods, he accidentlly think its an enemy and burns her feet combustion man finds them, zuko tries to defend the gang, sokka hits cb w/ boomerang, RIP combustion man the gang let zuko join, katara very mad at zuko, and says: 'You may have everyone else around here buying your...transformation, but you and I both know you've had trouble doing the right things in the past. So let me tell you something right now: If you take one step backward, one slip up, give me one reason to think you might hurt aang...then you won't have to worry about your destiny anymore. Because I'LL make sure you destiny ends, right then and there! PERMANENTLY." katara is very cold towards zuko, and no doubt will be later on as well... this was a fan fiction summary.
