i heard that Avatar’s contract with Nick is only for three books nd that the third and final book will have 22 episodes instead of 20.
I REALLY hope im wrong cause idk what i’ll do if Avatar actually ends after only three books. =(

The comet is three days away and the kids get ready for their final confrontation against Fire Lord Ozai. But Aang starts having doubts about killing the ruthless Fire Lord and he vanishes. Zuko and the rest of the gang journey to the Earth Kingdom to find Jun and try to track Aang down with the help of her Shirshu. Meanwhile, Fire Lord Ozai assembles his fleet of air ships to burn down the rest of the world to the ground with the power of Sozin’s Comet. Azula is left in the Fire Nation capital and Ozai names her Fire Lord as he renames himself as supreme ruler of the world, with the title of Phoenix Lord.

Aang wakes up in a mysterious island and tries to talk to the other Avatars about his decision of not killing the Fire Lord. The comet has come and the battle has begun. Sokka, Suki and Toph believe Aang is not coming in order to fight Ozai so they set up their own plan in order to stop the fleet of air ships approaching the Earth Kingdom and burning everything in it’s way. Aang finally comes face to face with Ozai but he tells him that he will not kill him and asks the Phoenix Lord to surrender. But Ozai refuses and attacks Aang anyway. Meanwhile, Azula’s coronation as Fire Lord is interrupted by Zuko and Katara. Azula and Zuko face each other in an Agni Kai in order to determine who will be the new ruler of the Fire Nation.
Season 3, Episode 21: Sozin’s Comet: Part 4

In this final episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender we find out if Aang can really defeat Ozai. As Zuko is very injured from a surprise attack from Azula, Katara steps in and takes the battle for him. Sokka must make a sacrifice in order to save someone he loves and Aang realizes what power really is. It all ends in this explosive finale of Nickelodeon’s biggest cartoon series.

What i do to pass the time is to not think about it. Check the avatar websites once a month. =] And get surprised when there is a new episodes. I mean, if you go searching for when the next episode is coming out, and you wait and wait until that day comes, but it doesn’t show up… its going to make the wait feel longer then it actually is, so how about we all just wait 2 months and not let it bother us to much! =] Good luck to you all!!

I think it is very wonderful and beautiful performances by the voice actors, the animators, musicians and background sound producers. And result is very clear, we all love avatar and it’s every theme from love to martial arts. The story in very well balanced and unpredictable. It has funny moments, joy, sadness, love and happiness for all ages of viewers.

“SOZIN’S COMET”—Interview with Mike & Bryan
Q: There were several allusions to Katara being Zuko’s girlfriend throughout Season Three. Aside from Uncle Iroh, she seemed to be the first person to see the potential good in Zuko. Was there ever a spark between the two? Was there ever a point which you thought they would end up together?
M: Sorry to disappoint the “Zutara” fans out there, but we never intended for Zuko and Katara to get together. Maybe we’re just sentimental, but we always had a soft spot in our hearts for “Kataang”.
B: Zuko and Katara might have shared some sparks, but sometimes there are people along your “journey of love” who are there to teach you about yourself and what you really need, but don’t necessarily end up being your partner. Come on, kids! “Zutara” never would have lasted! It was just dark and intriguing.
-Question here about Aang and the Spirit world which has not been previously asked but involved events in the book yet to be desribed. (AKA I’m being a jerk and feel like leaving things to your imagination, my pretties. ♥ You’ll have to wait until the finale airs, or pick up your own copy. )
Q: Why did Sokka lose his space sword and his boomerang at the end?
M: That’s why that scene is so great! These are just ordinary objects, but over the course of the series Sokka (and viewers) have formed an emotional connection to them. So when he loses them in order to save Toph, it really feels like a sacrifice. And in an epic finale, it’s more satisfying when the characters have to sacrifice something in order to achieve their goals.
B: Yeah, I would rather be alive and save my friend than have a sword and a boomerang!
Q: Peace has been restored, but if Aang is still the only Air Nomad left, is the world still out of balance?
M: (Paraphrased) Yes, but just because Aang is the last Airbender doesn’t mean achieving balance is impossible. He and Zuko will have to continue to work together. The war is over, but there are still conflicts to resolve.
Q: Can the Air Nomads make a comeback?
M: Aang is the last Airbender, as the title says. It’s not likely.
Q: If Aang and Katara had a child, which kind of bender would it be?
M: First of all, they’re way too young to have kids! But if down the line they decided to, it would be a waterbender, an airbender, or a non-bender. But not a combination or an Avatar. Avatar is a reincarnation cycle, not something that happens from genetics.
Q: Will there be a definitive guide created of the Avatar universe?

M: Not right now. The fan sites do a great job, though. More organized than us!
B: We have talked about it, but it’s all a matter of finding the time.

I have been thinking about Air Nomad extinction and I disagree with the creators. I think if Aang marries and has children then after 300 years more or less there will be more air benders than just one. Just keep in mind the avatar re carnation cycle which will be Air normad, water nation, earth nation, fire nation and air normad again.

I always thought it would be good to have a fourth book, because there are four elements. But…I don’t think there’ll be one because the story is almost over and there’s not much more to tell. I guess it’s the books in order of the elements he still has to learn. First Water, then Earth, then Fire. It’d be cool if they went back to air and showed how the Airbenders would grow strong again and return though.

noone and felica, we all been through this condition before when boiling rock was taking forever to come out. I know some one who has died waiting already any way there are only few things that can keep you from going mad. 1- don’t wait and keep yourself busy in other stuff like watch other clips on youtube 2- If number 1 does not do it for you then go watch old avatar episodes starting from season 1. Lastly if number 1 and 2 does not work then…well lets not talk about it yet. I am sure it will not come to that…I hope

According to Nick, the Western Air Temple hasn’t been aired yet. We’ve only seen it because of online websites. (I think)
Either way, it won’t be until July 17 that we can see the southern raiders, because they have to air thr western air temple and up first. In the week of July 14th they will air one episode per day, starting Monday. The southern raiders will air on Thursday of that week. But, they may release the episodes online before then………..

Hello Fishnips, that rumor is not true. You can get real proof by watching the original Nickelodeon channel (not the On Demand Nicktoons Network, Nick2, etc.) and wait for the commercial about all new episodes, or by going to www.nick.com/shows/specials/comet

I do not know how they plan to incorporate the last episode before the movie, called the Ember Island Players, as all four parts (episodes) of the Avatar movie are aired on Saturday. Well, my guess is that the Ember Island Players is going to be aired on Saturday, the same day as the movie. I saw the commerical one Nick and they said the week of episodes begins Monday and the movie comes out Saturday, so that wouldn’t allow all those episodes to be released one per day and the entire movie on a separate day, which makes the only possible option to do an episode and the movie on Saturday.

316 will not air monday, 312 will air monday, te 14th. then 313 will air tusday, 314 and 315 will air wendsday, then 316 will air thursday, 317 will air friday, and then all the rest of the epesodes wich is a 2 hour movie wich is 4 epesodes will air saturday. all epesodes start at 8/7c and end at 8:30. sept for the two hour movie wich will start at 8 and end at 10. so ya.

Yeah, u may want to learn the elements, but u can’t. That’s why Avatar the Last Airbender is called “Fantasy”. If anyone was a real bender, we’d know about it by now.
It’s unhealthy and dangerous to live in a fantasy.
If and when you wake up, you’ll find that everything’s moved on without you, your life (economical, social and maybe educational) is way behind and it all feels pretty empty. If there’s magic out there, it’s not going to be realized with a television show, but found another way.

July 14 is when the first “new” episode is being played. If you youtube the new commercial for avatar on nick it says that. But we have seen two leaked episodes so that cuts down the 5 new episodes they offer to three because i doubt they consider the leaked episodes they havent played as old. This week is apparntly an avatar week so we will not have to wait long for the new episodes at most like 3 days!

GUYS PLEASE calm down and be patient. The southern raiders will air thursday, not friday, because both parts of the Boiling Rock are airing tomorrow, Wednesday. Sozin’s Comet will air Saturday, not Sunday. The Ember Island Players airs Friday. Today the Firebending Masters will air.

I dunno about bloodbending, metalbending, and lightning, but this episode is gonna give more info on the raids that killed katara’s and sokka’s mother. It’s supposed to so something, either Zuko finding his mother, or Katara hunting down the soldiers that killed her mother.

Dude, my advice is that if they don’t air it on nick, then you should look it up by around 8.30 pm cuz someone’s bound to put it up. Im frickin excited!!! I’m not sure about the blood-metal-lightning combo, though. Katara never wanted to use bloodbending, Zuko doesn’t know how to use lightning( maybe relearning firebending did the trick cuz he’s not angry evil child anymore) but the metalbending is definitely a possibility.
(p.s forgot about aussie time so if it’s not on today check tomorrow morning

All of you Aussie out there. Southern Raiders will be available on net between 1-5PM on 18 July because Australia is ahead of the world by 17 hours. But then again if some one gets lazy and does not put it on net after watching it on cable would really suck! …….you know am I talking about

What I meant to say to twix is that if he couldn’t wait that long for it to air in australia, then he should go online.the good thing about the internet is that it isn’t restricted by time zones like tv is. by the way, i said 8.30 because if you don’t have cable (LIKE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) then it’s probably going to be on the internet somewhere right after it aired on tv in america. That’s what I meant this morning. So viewer2008, why did you say between 1-5 tomorrow? Does it really take that long to post it on the net?

Tonight I am preparing WILD. Thai Mangos and sticky rice, vanilla ice cream. All these things are raw so I’m a raw foodist. Coconut ice cream, and with my favorite MacBook laptop, yay I haven’t had this thing in so long and now I”m using it again.

I think that we’ve made it clear that it is supposed to air TODAY @ 8.00 and should at the least be online tomorrow, unless someone destroyed every known copy of the episode within the last couple of hours. Then we’re screwed.

I am learning waterbending. Actually, I’m learning air and fire too. It’s all about controlling your chi, and if you go to www.earthflame.com and click on chatroom you can ask somebody to teach you. I know kenesu is teaching me, and some others know how to as well. If you don’t believe me, you’ll just have to try it for yourself.
I just remembered I’m not at the TV after 8. Oh well I’ll have to watch it tomorrow online I guess. Anybody know if avatarchapters will air the episode before 8?

I have a philosophy about bending. life cannot exist without a balance between the four elements. even the elements themselves comprise of the other three. This is because, as with most things, there is no such thing as black and white. there is the darkest mix of the two, the lightest , and everything in between. Now, in bending terms, this means using one element to manipulate another, especially with the soft elements of water and air. earth, no matter how dense it is, can still be penetrated through. fire feeds on air, and water can excite and quicken the flame. if you separate water into it’s basic components, you can make a big boom. Even the dryest air contains small concentrations of water and air is propelled by heat and earth in the form of dust.

My question is this: if thats true, then why are they having this 2 hour movie at the end of the summer (usually a season seems to end at the end of spring and starts in the fall) and why are they making such a big deal about new episodes every day? They would’ve premiered a new episode one every two weeks or so.

Can’t wait, its 2 hours before the southern Raiders airs on cable TV in America but in Australia the time is 10:36AM and date is 18 July so anyone who watches it early anywhere may put it on net. All Aussies must wait because they do not get the new episodes on cable till later this month and would have to wait till it is available on net. Waiting game is Boring!

it was a tear jerker, but I wished that Katara woulda beaten Han up a little more before she stopped herself.You know, a few more cuts and bruises, and a broken bloody nose to boot… It was a pretty good episode, as far as emotional stuff goes.

No I think it was perfect the way Katara handled it as being herself. you think about it if she had beaten Han then she would have felt bad afterwards. Any way it was funny sokka style, wise avatar style, and very emotional katara style.I loved it all the way.

Oh prince Zuko was good too, he is really settled in with gang as well as Toph and Suki. Zuko has become a match for her sister in the battle and even better at fire bending.
